Reaching out through the entire party and across society
Our campaign began in the wake of the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on ethnically diverse communities, the fallout from George Floyd’s killing and Britain’s divisive BLM protests. In response, we launched our pledge; this garnered the support of MPs including Jeremy Hunt, Robert Halfon, Guy Oppermann and Tim Loughton. To truly make a difference we need to reach far larger audiences and do much more; for that, we need your help. To build this new narrative on race-relations, we don’t just need to work with MPs and other officeholders, but we need to reach out through the entire party and across society. Your donation will help us to:
1) Curate a schedule of events with local party branches and Conservative party members, officeholders and voters.
2) Recruit a part-time consultant to help get our views into the media and facilitate our involvement in the national debate at universities, media outlets and political conferences/events.
3) Develop our social media outreach with targeted paid advertising and engaging visual content.
4) Produce articles, reports and policy proposals.
Our narrative on race will be inclusive of the injustices of racism and the principles of patriotism, liberty, individual responsibility and capitalist prosperity. With your support and donations, together, we can redress the balance, redraw the boundaries of the debate and make meaningful change in Britain and beyond.

Albie is a member of Brentford & Isleworth Conservatives, TRG and LGBT+ Conservatives. He is a contributor to Conservative Home & The New Blue Book, he is passionate about how the Conservative party can appeal to minority groups & young voters. Outside politics he works in the City as a Financial Analyst, he graduated from the London School of Economics in 2017, where he was one of the first openly gay members of an Athletics Union Committee for LSE Rowing Club.

Siobhan Aarons

Siobhan is a TRG Board Member, co-Chair of the Conservative Friends of the Caribbean, as well as a committee member of her local association. She is an active campaigner for the Party and has stood twice in London Council elections. Outside of politics she is a governor at St. Jude’s Church of England Primary School in Elephant and Castle, London. Siobhan is the chair of the UK automotive trade body’s International Trade Working Group and works in the automotive industry advising on international trade-related regulatory and compliance matters across EMEA, North America and APAC.

Binita Mehta-Parmar is Deputy Chair of Watford Conservatives. She was the last Conservative Group leader on Watford Council: at 24, the youngest council group leader in the country, first Hindu and first Indian woman to ever represent her diverse town. She was a founding Director of Modern Britain, a centre-right think tank exploring innovative thinking on a range of issues important to BAME communities, and authored a report on migration policy post-Brexit. She has authored pieces on these issues in The Times, The Telegraph, The Spectator and Conservative Home. Professionally. Binita works for a charity start-up.
